About mile zero

I like to drive. Of course it’s not as simple to practice that as to merely state it. I live in a densely populated city where car ownership is regarded as an excess just a bit below having a housecleaning service.  But when it comes to personal transportation, I live in excess anyway. With three bicycles, two motorcycles, a car and a pair of well-used running shoes in the garage, I use more than my share of the road.  I tithe one full-fare transit pass every month and don’t even drive for my commute.  But all the vehicles get use, some more than others, and this blog collects my observations and thoughts as I use them to get around.
